As most of you know from your prior years of support, it is the time of the year for the Run for the Rose! The run is on Sunday, April 16, 2023, and I'm inviting you to join or donate to Team Kelly, in honor of Kelly DeScioli, who passed away from brain cancer on March 1, 2013.
The Run for the Rose, the signature event offered by the Dr. Marnie Rose Foundation, supports MD Anderson Cancer Center's immunotherapy research, new drug development and clinical trials for patients with brain cancer, as well as neuroscience research initiatives and the Pediatric Palliative Care Program and Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital. At McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, funds support cutting-edge research and treatment for children with brain tumors, a cause close to Marnie's heart.
