18th Annual Run for the Rose
**POSTPONED DUE TO COVID-19**
Dear Run for the Rose Supporters and Friends,
For 18 years, our mission has been to support brain cancer research and pediatric health initiatives. There is nothing we value more than the health and safety of our patients.
Given the current situation, we believe that it is our collective responsibility to keep our community healthy and prevent the spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
After consulting with the relevant authorities and reviewing health advisories from the World Health Organization and U.S. Centers for Disease Control, we want to help inhibit, rather than accelerate, the spread of the virus.
Therefore, we regret to inform you that we will be postponing Run for the Rose. The safety of our participants and attendees, including those who are vulnerable in our communities and the healthcare workers who take care of these individuals, is our top priority.
We are in the process of taking the appropriate steps to reschedule Run for the Rose to October 18, 2020* (pending final approval). We will communicate pertinent updates in the days and weeks to come. If you have any questions, please reach out us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
In the interim, we wish all those affected by the virus a speedy recovery and hope that the situation around the world is under control soon.
Thank you for your unwavering support of the Dr. Marnie Rose Foundation and for your understanding and patience as we work through this change.
